What is PANI?

Hello,
PANI (= water Indi) aims to develop a partnership between the Association, schools, communities and the village of Matéura (India) to implement projects in a sustainable development approach.
Specifically, this project in India is to create ponds of water purification plants to give water autonomy to the citizen of Mateur (village of about 130 inhabitants of the northern mountains of India.)
The village has tape water since two years but they don't have any infrastructure to receive and treat the wastewater. So, the wastewater is going to the fields and the river. wastewater becomes an urgent problem to preserve the environment and quality of the people life.
The aim is to learn to the local population to manage themself those ponds of water purification plants. Partnership with residents is indispensable. We will an important work about make the population to be aware of the natural water purification, but to organize the waste treatment with for example the establishment of garbage...
Pani is in contact with several partners (See the information paper) like the professional high shcool « Jules Rieffel ». This water purifcation is tested in a first time on a Guérande site by the student of BPA (Agricultural Professional Patent) AFC.
